Federal Agencies Now Have Access to “Fast Start” Cybersecurity Assessments Via Pre-Competed GWAC

gwaccognitioGovernment agencies face continuing challenges in enhancing service to citizens and critical functions of support to the economy, law enforcement and national security. And now every agency also faces new challenges in serving those missions in an age of cyber conflict. Organizations and even other nations have demonstrated an unrelenting focus on their attempts to gain unauthorized access to government systems.

In response to the need for rapid improvement in agency postures, the NIH CIO-CS Government-Wide Acquisition Contract now offers Cognitio’s Fast Start cybersecurity solution.

Cognitio’s solutions deliver a comprehensive look at the state of cyber risk in an enterprise through the utilization of our repeatable Cyber360™ assessment framework. Cyber360™ provides a holistic approach to evaluating and mitigating risk across the cyber landscape. The assessment evaluates 24 elements across standard IT security posture, cyber defense, cyber intelligence, and the cybersecurity process.

The outcome is a series of recommendations of immediate, near, and long-term actions that can be taken to reduce risk, increase threat knowledge, and allow an enterprise to respond quickly and efficiently to attacks or breaches. The client is provided a heat map as feedback and delivered an executive summary presentation outlining the risk posture along with a limited set of immediate recommendation. Two variants of this assessment are available for immediate purchase via the pre-competed NIH CIO-CS GWAC.
